• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Telly just a couple of weeks old. When putting in reverse, the mirrors point down like they are supposed to, but when the car is put in drive, they don't return to normal position without manual change. Anyone else have this issue?
Thank you!

Check to see the mirror adjusting switch is in either L or R position. Since it is tilting down, you might have to visit your dealer.

Is the mirrors pointing down in backup mode only available in the SX trim and Prestige package? I notice that is what you both have.

I have the EX with Premiere package and cannot seem to get it to work. Even with toggling the L and R switch. 😕

This is an SX feature.

@Luna23 A couple of weeks ago. I got into my Telly and the seat adjustment changes and side mirrors pointed down. I quickly adjusted everything back on the onramp to the freeway and since then every mirror and driver seat setting has stayed put. I don’t know what I did to trigger that reaction from my car. Maybe in shifting from P to D to R something weird (that only ever happened once) happened.

I’m not counting out my accidentally hitting a memory seat button or making a weird shifter motion that confused the Telly’s “brain”.

I didn’t even know this was a thing. Is it the same for Canadian models? I guess I look at the backup camera too much if that’s the case lol

What model do you have? If you have this feature, it will activate if you keep the mirror button on your door in the L or R position rather than centred.

I have the SXL Nightsky.. maybe it’s the L/R position
