• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Canadian 2021 Telluride

Thanks, so it isn’t just me or my equipment. I can access kia.com, but have to register so will do that to get the US manual. Just want to read up so I can get it home to Camrose after showing our daughter ( socially distanced, of course ) before the drive ( 90 km) home.
Here you go; no need to register :)

In addition to my above post, try this link. Randomly the Canadian manual seems to be working now. It's a big file compared to the US version (134mb vs. 9mb).

Has anyone bought an extended warranty from a 3rd party? Ensurall?

I think they're all third parties....? I don't know Ensurall though. Mine is with LGM.
Out of curiosity, how much do these extended warranties cost and do you get them through the dealership?

I got mine through the dealership and there's a wide range of costs. For how many years/kms do you want the extension? It's a bit mix and match with both years and kms (like, 10 years does not automatically equal a specific number of kms - you could go low or high on those).

Ask your dealership what they offer. Watch out for a deductible - I don't think that's necessary. When they come back with a number for the years/kms you want, I strongly suggest you negotiate. The cost is not written in stone, no matter what they say. There is a markup that's their profit. Say they suggest $3200 for 10 years/200,000km, tell them you'd rather put that money in the bank earning interest but that you would consider $2500. See what happens etc.

I meant warranty not from the dealer. I mean Ensurall is quoting me $1900 for 10 yes or 200000 kms. But I was just wanting to see if anyone has purchased from them.

Just got email from dealer our SX in white with espresso is in Calgary and will be trucked to Sherwood Kia hopefully by weekend with pickup next week. Pleased with time.
ordered Dec 21, vin created Jan 12 and deliver about Feb 10.
Finally have some place to put our new Maxpider floor mats we ordered from Costco.
Sounds like we will be able to check out the heater in it.....calling for lows in mid -30’s next week.
Definitely not used to this as we spend winters in California, but not this year!

Gord, just confirm, you factory ordered in December, and your vehicle was shipped to Calgary, then on a truck to Edmonton?

That is super bizarre, because all new vehicles are shipped to Edmonton, and distributed from there, why would it come to Calgary, then back to Edmonton?

Yes, we ordered in December.
I emailed our dealer on Tuesday wondering if he knew where I vehicle might be. ( We were expecting a Feb 2 to 9 date ). He responded yesterday and said it was in Calgary. He was expecting it to arrive in Sherwood Park ( just outside Edmonton ) on a truck load of vehicles within a few days. I assume they have to make a full transport load before leaving Calgary. He also said he gets a phone call once the truck leaves so he has about three hours lead time before arrival.
Regarding routing, I assume it is via rail from eastern Canada and would depend on which rail carrier ( CPR or CNR ) was chosen or has the capacity at the time to move the cars. The main line through Edmonton is CNR, although CPR does also serve Edmonton From the east.
The southern main line through Canada is CPR.
If/when I get anymore details I’ll post the info.
Too bad it’s going to be mid -30s next week. Great weather to check out a new vehicle. Won’t be checking out the airflow through the sunroof when it’s open for a while I’m afraid.

Just got email from sale manager, our Telluride arrived on their lot in Sherwood Park today. They are starting pdi ( or what ever they call it now ). We will go pick it up Tuesday about lunch time. I will ask about the vehicle routing and report back if they can enlighten us.

Congrats! Im picking mine up tomorrow morning. Super excited.

I'm shocked that reading all the delays in receiving their Telluride, I got a call from my dealer today and they said it's on the lot and will be ready for pickup next week! I only ordered my SXL Nightfall on the 1st of February. The sales person said I was very lucky to get my package and options so fast. Pretty happy, as I was expecting to wait at least 2 months.

Yes, the Nightfall edition ships pretty fast, as in your case. The issue is with the regular SX-L, due to low availability of the nappa leather. I'm at almost 3 months now. At this point, it might make sense to wait for the 2022's. :)
