• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... How does the rear plate attach to the Telly? (Haven't picked it up yet).

Screws

2 screws, which will be provided with free complimentary dealer advertisement. :) Order yourself a license plate frame. I recommend silicone ones.

NC doesn't require front plates. I bought my car from Muncie, so I requested that they NOT drill front holes and put a plate frame on front. So if you don't need front plates attached, let your dealer know, if you purchased in another state.

I love the fact that I have a Kia of Muncie license plate holder on my car. It reminds my dealer every time I take it in, they lost a sale because they claimed they "were not a big enough dealer to place a special order." All BS of course.

I did the same - requested not to mount the front license plate holder - no holes please. i25 gave me the holder if someone in the future wants it. I ordered the silicon holder and like it very much. My $0.02.

They weren’t talking about front plates

I got simple, low profile silicone ones. They frame my personalized plates perfectly!
don't we have a thread on personalized plates? I'd love to see what others have on their Telly's...

Picked up the OE Kia Telluride plate frame. One area where I'm a bit ocd is how people will have a beautiful car and then have cheap dealer freebie or nothing and some rusted bolts.😕.

College alumni frame with personalized plate of college with year of graduation.

Ya that oe telluride plate frame is very nice looking. Too bad it didn’t come in a black version for the nightsky tellurides.

The holder that came on my Telly obscures the top of the Arizona license plate which is against the law in Arizona. You have to be able to read the name of the state.

So I just threw it in the back and attached the plate onto the car without any holder.

What about damage to the rear license plate using drive-thru car washes? There are only the 2 screws on the top of the plate, no provisions on the bottom of the plate to secure it and I certainly don't want to drill any extra holes into the rear hatch... I have seen car washes rip front and/or rear plates off of vehicles

That's the only thing I have found that I don't like on our new Telly.

Avoid those type of car washes. Hand wash its the best

I don't go to car washes with Telly. Hand wash with a foam cannon.

That is my plan too. Have a list of about 15 items to purchase (towels, wash mitts, buckets, power washer, etc)
