If you want to do something to protect your paint but don't want to spend the big bucks on a professional coating, there are some spray waxes that work well. Check out this test of ceramic spray coatings at the 6 month point in the test. A couple of my favorites are doing very well, the Griots 3-in-1 Ceramic Spray wax and the Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic wax. Keep in mind, they all work best when the pain is cleaned with a good quality clay bar and prepped with a good polishing prior to applying the wax.
