Canadian 2021 Telluride

Surprise, surprise. Dealer tells me that they received word yesterday that the vehicle had been produced and was in the process of being shipped to a distribution center in Montreal(?) by rail and then by truck to HFX and then on to the dealer in our province. So perhaps I will see it in the next two weeks? I don't really mind the delay. Still driving my trade in winter-ish weather.

Does anyone know how to track the shipping with the Canadian VIN that I have?

This may be a silly question but I have not bought a new car in a looong time. Not too long ago the financing % dropped from 3.99% down to 2.99? what are the chances of it dropping again to 1.99% or lower? Was going to start the shopping / emailing process in the very near future.

They just did a promo 1.99% on ex.... So wait a few months.

Or do like me, 0% interest pay in a year. Save thousands of dollars in interest over the course of what your financing was originally going to be. Use any car loan calculator and see how much interest you would've paid.

I'm a bit of a sucker for extended warranties. I tend to keep my cars for a long time, and the warranties have always paid off. And with all the electronics in new cars, I worry about future repairs. I just feel better paying now and then not thinking about it. I got a 10 year/200k km.

Has anyone bought the Kia warranty in Canada? The 7 year 140,000km they offered for $3000. The reason I’m interested is it changes the technology stuff from 3 years to 7 years. Also they say if you don’t make a claim then at the end you get your money back.

Negotiate.
I got 2500 and 800-1000 in accessories +Sherlock+rustproofing.
Be ready to walk out of there if you're not satisfied.

it’s $10 off. I think currently they are sold out again. It took us a month to be able to order them cause they would sell out so fast when they came back in stock. I had to check the site daily until I caught them in stock. You can sign up to be emailed when available but be prepared to jump on them fast lol. We love ours and they fit and look good. Especially with the black interior.

Doesn’t work for us Canadians. Your at the mercy of your salesman for how updated they keep you. We can’t check and track like they can in the . What model and color combo did you order?

dark moss/black sx limited. i was so hesitant to order with the limit of napa, but the dealer seems upfront. quoted me 6-12 weeks and didn’t seem worried about the napa.

Nice combo. We seen one of those in the lot when we were picking up ours and the salesman told us it sold in the afternoon after a couple test drive it. We wanted Napa too but we got the nightsky edition so that eliminated Napa. How’s a good time to search the forum and learn things before you get the telluride. Ask lots of questions too if you have any as they will be and you many.

I ordered a 21 GG SXL NF in ontario. Price through Orangeville first and took that to my local dealer. Got just over 4k under msrp. Just heard Thursday that its headed to the compound via rail and will be here by end of month. A lot quicker than I expected!

Hey @GreekWiz thanks for the recommendation on tires. Bob is a really nice guy. In the meantime I could have sworn I would be the only one within my area in SE Calgary that had a telluride, cos I hardly ever see any telluride around me while driving, only for me to go for a jog round the neighbourhood on Thursday and I see this lovely I think gravity grey telluride parked infront of a garage. Was tempted to go introduce myself even though no one was there. There's just something unique about the telluride and yes I've been getting those looks where people are having second looks and long glances at the sweetness of my MOSS-KT

I am in Douglas Glen section of South East Calgary.
There is a Black Non-SX (no driving lights) around me somewhere and 2 Palisade'.
I saw one other on the road a while back, and that has been it.
