Carefully read the warranty-type books that came with your Telluride. Great details of state-by-state rules. Usually there is arbitration backed up by your state's lemon laws. Arbitration works very well and you may face choices in the end.Status Quo.
They just keep on balancing those wheels and not fixing the issue.
Lawyer said they will not make an offer to repurchase unless the vehicle is unsafe to drive.
She said that Kia and Hyundai are outright cheap and she asked me to keep trying different dealers to fix the core issue...
Good to hear from you sir!Carefully read the warranty-type books that came with your Telluride. Great details of state-by-state rules. Usually there is arbitration backed up by your state's lemon laws. Arbitration works very well and you may face choices in the end.
I did find a dealer who actually worked well to try to get the problem fixed. Even after many parts were repaired there was still vibration. KIA honored the arbitration and I returned the Telluride to them and now drive another brand. The process worked well and I wish there had not been a problem since the Telluride is a great concept.Good to hear from you sir!
You were one of the original folks who had vibration issues on their Tellurides and got Kia to actually replace the parts.
How is the vehicle holding up?
To your very good point, if they deny my lawyer's demand letter then yes the final option is a binding arbitration through BBB.
Oh I'm sorry for assuming that all was fixed with your vehicle.I did find a dealer who actually worked well to try to get the problem fixed. of course not. all design corrections will be made during the facelift.I have put a small deposit on an AWD EX model scheduled to be delivered in the next two weeks. After reading this thread, does this vibration issue show up during a test drive of a few minutes in the 60-70mph range? Not going to run away yet, but want to be informed for my test drive.
This thread seems to have died out a bit. Does anyone know if any changes at assembly time have been made? Seems like more people might be finding this thread if the issues were more wide spread as more are being sold possibly?
I kind of figured it might not have been addressed, but since this thread died down I was hopeful. I suppose those who it bothered have either dumped it and run by now, or just learn to accept it to prevent losing a ton of their investment.of course not. all design corrections will be made during the facelift.

I have been following this thread and expect to be picking mine up in a few weeks (SX-P). Fingers crossed if it was a more widespread problem we would be hearing more about it. I'll be test driving it on the highway for 5-10 miles for sure. If for some reason the problem shows up down the road and can't easily be remedied then at least the used market for Tellurides seems pretty strong. I haven't thought about what else to buy as a plan B but hopefully it won't come to that. The one we test drove in October (SX) definitely vibrated at ~ 70 mph so I know what it feels like.I kind of figured it might not have been addressed, but since this thread died down I was hopeful. I suppose those who it bothered have either dumped it and run by now, or just learn to accept it to prevent losing a ton of their investment.
My wife also likes a Honda Passport, but there are some VERY obvious upsides to the Telluride appearance if nothing else. That being said Honda doesnt appear to be what it used to be either.
Someone resigned themselves, someone got what they wanted and crushed the shit company, someone is still fighting, someone does not irritate the vibration in general.I kind of figured it might not have been addressed, but since this thread died down I was hopeful. Please post if you find out. I have the same pulsing in my gas pedal. The dealership said two different driver test my car and it's fine. But for some reason I feel like my foot is getting a massage while am driving at high speed. That's not normal at all. It makes me start wonder if my hand an foot is too sensitive because I can feel the slight vibration in the shifter. They don't want too test drive it with me because of lock down. I have 44400 km on my Telluride now I got mine back in April of 2019 . Nice car but alot of unchecked stuff from manufacturer. Like loose cross members..I just received my new Telluride SXP with tow package. Only have 200 miles on it. Build date is June 24th. Arrived August 2nd. Not sure why it took so long to arrive? I am having the same vibration/pulsations as other describe which start around 65 mph but seen to diminish or go away about 75 mph. It feel vibration in gas pedal, seat and floor board. I hear a hum similar to what you get with some vehicle when opening sun roof or rear window. I don’t think it it a tire balance problem. Taking to dealer tomorrow to have them check. I’m sure they will start with tire balance but have no confidence that they will find problem based on the comments of others. It is too bad since at speeds below 65 the vehicle is super quiet and smooth. Will advise if I find out anything.
Want cheap, you get cheap. Lesson learned.
The part that is reportedly causing the vibration is the mechanism that connects the AWD. That part does not exist on the FWD. With good tires you will be fine with a FWD Telluride.I ordered an SX AWD but switched it to a FWD due to the reports of all these vibrations. I understand that the vibration happens with AWD models. Has anyone ever reported it with FWD?
