In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2020 Telluride AWD rear end jerking thumping and vibrating

Definitely not normal. I live in Georgia about 30 minutes away from where they are made. They sent engineers from the plant to look at mine. I’m very happy they were able to resolve it. We really love this vehicle it has been great.
Hi can you please tell me how they fixed the problem with ur Telluride. I am in Canada and have been having problem with mine since I hit the first 1000 km. They changed the drive shaft but it still vibrate at highway speed. Driving me nuts about now. Here we don't have that lemon law that Americans have so you can imaging the hell the consumer go thru.

All the success stories listed.

Driveshafts, Couplers, Vibration

They have now had mine for 71 days and it’s still not fixed. At first they didn’t even give me a loaner and now I’m in a Forte. I’ve paid three car payments since it’s been there, all to drive a Forte. I’m over this and the brand. Done.

They have kept your car for 71 days ?!

That’s crazy. Did you point them to this forum and tell them you know what the issue is ? This is exact reason I am afraid to start this stupid process with them. Good luck hopefully you will get somewhere with them soon.

71 days is a joke!!!! I’d be on them like white on rice. A thorn in their A$$. If being nice about it doesn’t work then I’d be at the showroom every Saturday making a scene in the middle of their busiest days. It shouldn’t be this way but the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Sorry you’re dealing with this nonsense. Keep us posted.

Is it possible to get Nighftall or Prestige without AWD? **solved**

Picked up my SXP AWD nightfall no tow today. Ordered in July and produced in December. It does NOT have a vibration at any speed. I followed this thread from the beginning and it was the first thing I looked for. It's completely smoothe. So the issue is not spread across all SXs, unfortunately or fortunately :(
Thank you for this!!! I’m new here and will be picking mine up next week but a dealer closer just called saying he has one with tow. I wonder if it’s the tow package that’s causing the vibration?!

Call Kia Customer Service. And remember to be nice.
Been there, done that. Case has been open. They are worthless and yes I have been very nice and more than accommodating during this whole thing. They used COVID as the first excuse and then a corporate ransomware attack as another!

Day 1. They basically just say as the dealership they have no control and can only repair what corporate techline will allow them to repair. I’m not kidding when I say it’s basically a long email thread with a corporate tech guy giving them shitty ideas to check and sending them on wild goose chases. They know what’s wrong but don’t want to pay my dealership to repair it. Kia was a bad choice.

The second dealer also balanced the wheels and told me they were off. Not sure what the first dealer did.
The problem however still persists.

What good is a 10 year warranty If they are unwilling or unable to fix the problem.

Maybe they offered so much value in these cars that they don’t have any margin left to take care of a few customers with problems?

Quite right. If they improve customer service, the car will cost significantly more. Who then will buy KIA for that kind of money.
And so, there are many options, the price is lower than competitors, the client service is shit. Quality too.

Ok update so the dealership change out the drive shaft and the rear differential. But that still didn't fix my vibration problem. The car feels like it's humming vibrate . You will be driving and it feels smooth up too 80 km. Once you go on the highway that smoothness is gone it feels like there's something off in the front . That vibration is so annoying I really don't know. I buy the vehicle in April of 2019 so for I have balance it about six or seven times . Road force it 4 times . Out of that I had to pay four times 60 something dollars one shop didn't change me twice because the feel my pain. Then I spent almost 900$ .Because dealership told me rims were no good.. This is the first time I've had so much problem with one vehicle. This my eight vehicle you would think by now I Kno how a vehicle should feel on the highway.. Funny I usually get rid of problem but I can't sell or trade back this thing in knowing that there's something wrong guilt would eat away at me sucks isn't it. I really hope kia find a salutation quick . Because I am not the only having issues with they're Telluride. I am not a mechanic but this feels like there's either front drive train problem or a transmission. Well I think 🤔 talk enuff for now.

So sorry to hear this problem still persists for people. I would be pissed too if I have a telluvibe and they are not willing to fix it! I guess the only safe way is to lease, and if there's no problems after 3 months, then you convert it to a buy.

Thanks . I like the vehicle the fact that it seats 8 and is AWD is a plus .Those are the reasons I buy it . I love road trips in the Summer I go to Georgia every year but since this plandemic I have not gone anywhere. The other day we take it for a two hour drive to look at a place. This was one of the worsts two hours I ever driven I couldn't go above 100 km that's 60 miles on hour in the States. That to me sucks the fact that it's a new vehicle. The dealership I bought it from the guy want sell me another one trade this one back in but I don't want to start any payment all over. Forget that. The plan was to buy this drive it for ten years . So pay it off in five and drive it for five no payments . But that doesn't seems like it gonna happen just about now. 😆 You ever hear the saying man a plan the devil a wipe out.lol this feels like that.

I’m thankful for everyone who has shared their experience. I will definitely look out for this when I pick up my SXP NF with tow in a couple of days
