Charlotte, NC Looking for SX Prestige (Willing to Travel a bit)

Hey guys!

I am new here and planning to buy a Telluride SX Prestige in the next month. I'm in no rush and totally fine with ordering one but like most on here, I would like to find someone willing to sell closer to msrp. I have an option already 9 hours and 544 miles away to put in an order exactly at @ MSRP but would like to see if there is any dealerships closer by who is willing to give a good deal who would want a sale and save me some travel lol. I already have my pre-qualification letter with my bank ready to go.

Since I am in a big city, everyone is selling 5-10k over msrp which I will not touch.

Looking for fully loaded SX Prestige nightfall in either wolf grey, gravity grey, ebony black or snow white pearl (in that order).

If anyone is closer than 540 miles that is selling or taking orders please contact me here. May 18th I will be driving to my hometown to pick one up at MSRP if there isn't any interest here.

ALSO, just a side note we will be looking for a daily driver next January for a K5 GT or Soul EX to upgrade the wifes current soul so I would be all for making that second sale at the same dealership.

To my knowledge Fred Anderson Kia in Raleigh and Kia Cary are the only two selling at MSRP in NC but that is when you place an order. Tellurides on their lots are marked up just like all the Charlotte dealers. Ended up buying from Kia of Muncie IN as they sell at MSRP and honor Costco Auto program (1200 off for SX AWD) and have one of the lowest doc fees I have seen $199.

I contacted the Kia in Muncie as well and may still end up going that route but the turn around times are 6-8 months but the positive would be it most likely would be a 2022.

wait times have been shrinking unless they shut the line down due to chip shortages. The original backlog was caused by Covid shutdowns and has continued to shrink over time. Lucas quoted us 6-8 months back in mid Dec and we are taking delivery early June (5.5 months) if its not delayed.
