• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Is there a way to turn off the Lane Assist when using the Cruise Control? I love the SCC but feel like I'm fighting the Lane Assist all the time. (Or it's fighting me). Yes, I read the manual, but haven't found it yet.

If you’re wanting to turn off lane following assist (the self-steering that is only active under smart cruise), you need to turn that off in your instrument cluster settings. User settings > driver assistance > driving assist > lane following assist.

Turning that off will mean you are responsible for steering even with cruise on (you’ll notice you won’t see that little steering wheel icon anymore when cruise is active).

Additionally, if you don’t even want to get ping-pong corrections or beeps that you’re leaving your lane, you also want to turn off lane keeping assist via the button down to the left of your steering wheel.

or you can use the turn signals when you change lanes...........no sounds, no corrections, no fighting.

Found it ......thank you ......

Is there a difference between "Lane Follow Assist" and "Lane Keep Assist" ? It seems like they both do exactly the same thing.........??

the way I understand it, lane keep assist makes the noise/vibration. Lane follow assist actually moves the steering to follow the lines.

My post here I believe does a decent job of summing up the difference.

I've found that to be true with one exception: When approaching a right turn lane the lane keeping assist will sometimes try to follow the right-hand stripe as it curves away, so I have to fight the system to keep my Telly in the through lane. It's not difficult to overcome, but it's definitely something to watch out for.
