Is there a way to turn off the Lane Assist when using the Cruise Control? I love the SCC but feel like I'm fighting the Lane Assist all the time. (Or it's fighting me). Yes, I read the manual, but haven't found it yet.
If you’re wanting to turn off lane following assist (the self-steering that is only active under smart cruise), you need to turn that off in your instrument cluster settings. User settings > driver assistance > driving assist > lane following assist. Is there a way to turn off the Lane Assist when using the Cruise Control? the way I understand it, lane keep assist makes the noise/vibration. Lane follow assist actually moves the steering to follow the lines. Is there a difference between "Lane Follow Assist" and "Lane Keep Assist" ? It seems like they both do exactly the same thing.........??
My post here I believe does a decent job of summing up the difference. Is there a difference between "Lane Follow Assist" and "Lane Keep Assist" ? It seems like they both do exactly the same thing.........??
I've found that to be true with one exception: When approaching a right turn lane the lane keeping assist will sometimes try to follow the right-hand stripe as it curves away, so I have to fight the system to keep my Telly in the through lane. It's not difficult to overcome, but it's definitely something to watch out for.or you can use the turn signals when you change lanes...........no sounds, no corrections, no fighting.
