• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Does anyone have their cool seats turn on automatically? I tried holding the button down to turn it off but when I start the car, they come on again. The manual says it starts in the off position each time when starting the car so I don't understand why it does this.

My heated/cooled seats are always off when I turn on the car. I’ve turned my car off with them set on heating and cooled and regardless when I turn car on they are always off.

Yeah, it kind of just started doing this so I don't understand why and according to the manual, it's not supposed to. Hope it's nothing defective.

Does it on mine too. I know one of the features listed in the reviews is that when it's really cold out and you crank the heater up it also turns on the heated seat and starts the heated steering wheel. So similar if the computer thinks it's hot outside it's probably turning your ventilated seat on to cool you off quicker.

It's not the hot though. Only 68 degrees. At least I know it's happening to someone else too

on your screen Select Vehicle>Climate>Automatic Ventilation and you can turn off this feature.
This says auto dehumidify though, has nothing to do with the seats.

It was under one of the other menu options though. Thanks.
My seats do the same thing. Which option was it under? Thx.

Yes, I have tried everything to get this feature to turn off.

okay to control your seats you have to go into setup and look under climate control under vehicle. You will see an option for seats. under here you can control on auto or off. this function also controls the heated steering wheel option. I have an SXP so hopefully the same options are on your ride. If in auto the car looks at the temp inside the cabin and turns on what is needed to maintain the cabin temp. So come winter time you may want to turn back on for seat heaters to work. anyway everyone keep chiming in for we are wanting to learn out new Telly's

I have to admit - the cooled seats are wonderful. Like a little ice pack on the lower back. I am okay with them coming off and on when appropriate - I appreciate the technology that went into that. I never remembered to use my seat warmers in my last vehicle so the fact that it does this for me is very cool.

Try setup > vehicle > seat > heated/ventilated features… This is where you can see settings for C6F5562B-13D9-451E-BA33-5CE6FEA0CF2F.webpsteering wheel and seat.

My '21 does the same thing. It just started and I can't figure out how to turn it off

Ours is doing that now too, but didn’t used to.
