Nice! Really prefer the old logo and chrome grill on the moss color vs new logo and black grill on the 2022. This is what I wanted but switched my order to the glacial white after seeing the new logo and black grill.

Is it certain that the grill on the SX is black?????? I am not a fan of the new logo or the black grill. If I wanted the black grill, I would have ordered the nightfall

I ordered 4/26 and was told it would be 12 to 16 weeks. Got a call 6/7 to say my order had been accepted and it was going to be a 2022 with no additional charges to me with an ETA of 6/23. Arrived at my dealership 6/21 and am picking up tomorrow 6/22. Not even 2 months so keep your hopes up. Some dealerships I’d talked to said 6 month wait. That’s why I called around.

All 22 grills are black. LX is a bit glossier.

I ordered my SX-P with Nightfall and tow on 4/26 and yes with a $2000 mark up for FMV which was thoroughly explained to me before I even ordered it and was told it would be a 12 to 16 week wait which was good since other dealerships here in Richmond, VA said 6 month wait and had higher mark ups than the $2000 I paid. I then received a call from my dealership on June 7th and was told that the factory had accepted my order, it’s a 2022 not a 2021 and my ETA is June 23rd. Less than 2 months? Orders that were left over or not filled were either sent back to the dealerships or upgraded and resubmitted as 2022’s. Especially the SX Nightfall Edition with tow because nothing had changed with those from 2021 to 2022. Other models were kicked back to dealerships so they could call the customers and see if they still wanted it, any amendments to the orders and then they were resubmitted to the factory or the line for the factory to accept again. Dealerships can order “x” number of Tellurides a month. So if your dealership can order 3 per month and there are 9 ahead of you it’ll take 4 months before the dealership can submit your order to the factory. If a dealership can order 9 per month then you may get it ordered that month or definitely the next. Dealerships like to blame the factory but you’ll learn here that the ordering process is based solely on how many Tellurides a particular Dealership “can” order for that month and dealers vary as to how many they’re allowed to order. Sounds like they're just giving you guesstimates. I wouldn't put any faith in what they're predicting, just wait for an ETA from KIA after your order is accepted.

Hopefully your order deposit is refundable and you can find a 20 or 21 to your liking. They might be more accessible now that the new MY rollout is official and people will trade in for the new design. Good luck!!

Did you mean KIA accepted your order on 4/1? that is quite a long wait after order being accepted. If not, yours is just in line waiting to be accepted.

Wondering if people can start posting when they ordered and when they received their Kia (or at least the vin).

I ordered an sx prestige with tow on March 13. Nothing yet.

Many of the threads here have gotten hare to follow woth with the side conversations, it would be helpful to just keep this to dates for people’s reference.

Ordered ours and never got fulfilled. Keep calling and pay the up charge and save the hassle.

I ordered 03/26 and have a current ETA of 07/02nd. I know how it feels, I've seen a few order after and get theirs sooner, but just seems to be so dependent on dealer, and how close you are to plant for train/freight.

My ETA just got bumped from 6/28 to 7/2 which is not ideal timing for us getting the car to say the least. We had it all worked out to do the deal on 6/30 (flight booked to drive it home, etc). Is there any chance it’ll still come in before 7/2 at this point??

Yeah, I really want to book flight early to save $ but can’t because eta changes a lot from what I read, usually to earlier. I would book a few days after the eta, based on the latest eta you get within 2 weeks (your case). I still think It can change but not much since it’s only like a week left.

Ugh we just don’t know what to do. Basically we can’t get the car for like 3 weeks if it arrives 7/2. I would be ok waiting the extra weeks but just are nervous the car might get bought out from under us. Would rather not pay to have it shipped. Not sure I feel great about completing the paperwork sight unseen and leaving it there until we can get it.

I am new to this...I went to a dealer yesterday to ask about wait times and they told me the wait for an SX Prestige is 2 years??!! Is that possible? Who would order a car now and wait 2 years?

Ordered Telluride S Awd Dark Moss on 5/24 as of 2 weeks ago still wasn't accepted by kia, just got a call today that it is on the truck and will be here next week! I don't even see it on failcat. Must have been missed.

No. I put in the order through dealership on 4/1.

Some dealerships have longer waitlists than others. Some dealerships get more cars than others. This is why it really is important to do some research (every tool you’ll need is on these forums) before placing your order. My local dealer is 12-14 months out, but another dealer 4 hours away is (was) 4-6 months. Both at MSRP. Guess which one I ordered from?

Yep - cancelling mine today. I was coming from a long line of Ford Explorers, but was enamored by the look and tech offered by the Telluride. Drove a 2021 Explorer Limited yesterday, found it has most of the same tech that the Telluride has, fits my comfort level of knowing the Explorer well, and (most importantly) was right there available for immediate purchase, so I drove it home. Not disappointed.

It is possible, but hard decision as you don't want to pay for unnecessary flight.
My ETA was 6/18, then 6/4, then dealer called me on 5/29, and it was there!. It can happen.

My 2022 Black SX was ordered on 01/26 and I received it 3 days short of 5 months later on 06/23.

Order on may 23 , got a call today that it was the order was picked up and eta 7/23.

I have not ordered the carpet floor mats, anyone have recommendation of the mats.
