This is fantastic. I was super worried about the new logo on an all black. This doesn’t look bad to me at all.
Can you post a picture of the back as well please?

Ordered 2022 AWD EX on June 14th, got a call today saying it should be here mid August. Hope they are right. Yesterday they said first week of September. Fingers crossed!!

Hi, just curious, I saw your post about ordering a Telluride with trailer hitch. What would you think the real towing capability that I could expect?

Kia says you can tow up to 5000lbs. The tow pkg includes the self-leveling suspension for the rear too. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to tow 5000lbs with relative ease.

The factory tow hitch is rated to 5000lbs, and the self levelling rear suspension solves one of the towing issues that often cause problems. The trick is to manage the hitch weight of your towed rig. Should not be more than 15% of the gross trailer weight. WIth the weight & balance right, the next question is power. With the full 5000lbs and with 290hp & 260 lbft you can expect to run nicely on the flats. Be prepared to run in the high revs when climbing. My race rig was around 4600lbs. Towed it from Northern Virginia as far as Daytona south and Watkins Glen north every year with my trusty Toyota Landcruiser [228hp/302lbft].

Now the bit that can cause real trouble. For gross weight over 2000lbs or so, electric trailer brakes are essential. There are many reasons why. Don't find out the hard way.

I am new to this...I went to a dealer yesterday to ask about wait times and they told me the wait for an SX Prestige is 2 years??!! Is that possible? Who would order a car now and wait 2 years?

That's ridiculous and seems completely false. I live in MN and the dealer I ordered from says they have one of the larger order allotments in the state and told me 4ish months from order to delivery is estimated. I would call around to other dealers, especially bigger ones in your surrounding area. Best of luck

103 days total from the deposit. Not bad, IMO. Right around what seemed to be average for high volume dealers. Lupient Kia in Brooklyn park MN was awesome… they told me they’re already ordering black Kia emblems to replace for customers 2022? Not sure where or how. For those wondering the back logo looks super easy to delete. Just adhesive, doesn’t appear to have the indentation for the lettering at all. Chrome logo looks awful and will be wrapping the front this weekend forsure. Not sure if I will wrap or just delete the back KIA emblem entirely. Here she is..

Awesome. I ordered the exact same build from Belzers in Lakeville on 6/21. They told me they have a pretty large allotment so I am hoping it only take like 3-4months total or less

That's interesting to hear about the black emblems. Maybe Kia will update that for the nightfalls very soon. The silver at least looks better on this color than the darker color options.

2022 S ordered 05/14. We drove it home this evening 07/05. Painless process and we paid MSRP. Just under 2 months and we were quoted 6-8 weeks.

First dealership we spoke with was 8 to 12 month wait with no MSRP mark-up and we found another dealership with a $1999.00 mark-up with a 2-3 month. Needless to say we went with the 2nd...
Ordered 2/15/21 w/$500 deposit and picked up 4/7/21. I was surprised that we got it that fast!

What city/state did you find the no/$1999 markup in? In California they are all about $7500 markup. I would be willing to purchase out of state and drive it back!

That's awesome @OLdguy in Tn , good for you!! Was this a dealer in TN?! I live in N. MS (originally from West TN)--so, this might be more "do-able" for me than tryin to fly out to I-25 in Longmont CO....or Muncie. Just curious who you might've dealt with & any pointers/advice would certainly be appreciated!
