• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Aftermarket badge for Telluride?

You don't have to buy your emblems from Korea. You can buy them from Florida. That's where our forum store ships from. It also helps support this community.

I've been holding out waiting for the forum to perhaps have the all black badges like ddreyfu just posted. Will y'all be selling those?

When I was shopping (checked your site first) I didn't see that you had the all black ones.

Have you thought about plasti dipping the top and bottom trim on the grill and the trim below the fog lights?
Maybe I'll give it a shot just to see how it looks. Easy just to peel off if it doesn't look good. If I do it I'll be sure to post it.

Yes, I have a few sets of those but they're too small for the Telluride. I'll have the proper size in the forum store in a few weeks.
I saw that you replied to another post about getting black badges in a couple days. Are they black gloss or black carbon, I like both but think I lean towards the Black Carbon? I posted back in early May about getting these Black Carbons and you mentioned that you should have them in a few weeks....well its been a few weeks :) :)….signed patiently waiting.

The "Carbon K" is basically the "KLexus" design, also known as "Kia 3.0". The first and second images below... The first set is ALL metal skins, meaning they're ALL overlays. The second set is all metal skins EXCEPT for the front and rear emblems - which are replacement emblems...

The third picture is the "Vintage K". What's nice about the Vintage K is that it's an actual OEM design. The KLexus, Carbon K or Kia 3.0 were created to be similar to the Vintage K. In my opinion, and that of many other people, they're all nicer options than the "KIA" logo - and all being "K" emblems, they all still represent KIA...

To note, OVERLAY front and rear emblems don't come with the surrounding chrome edge - because they're made to fit in-between the chrome edge of the standard KIA emblem - so the edge is not needed...

Thank you! Exactly what I needed to make a decision.

"Black carbon" would be this:
1543

"Gloss black", or plain black (this is really more like matte black) would be this:
1544

Finally did the rear all black emblem. Car is super dirty (rained all day)

That looks sharp.

does anyone want to share the pros and cons of doing an overlay versus an actual emblem replacement?

I know the overlay is easier but it seems like most people are doing an emblem replacement. this leads me to believe there is some inherent advantage to doing so. Please share!

There really is no downside to the overlays. It really comes down to which design you want. There are three different types. The Carbon K and KLexus are very similar - but have subtle differences. The Vintage K has the classiest look, in my opinion, but are only available as replacement emblems for another week or two. The Vintage K overlays are almost here. If interested, it would be a good idea to place a pre-order as the first batch is already almost sold out...

I'm leaning towards the carbon K for the front and back when they become available. And do they overlays for the wheel caps and steering wheel. I'll jump on the carbon Ks when I see them in the forum store
