Can anyone confirm the following configurations are not available

I know the online configurator can be wrong sometimes but just want to double check

1. 8-passenger seating (ie second row bench) is not available with LED headlights (EXP and higher trims) and surround view parking camera (SX and higher).

2. Grey nappa leather is not available with either Sangria or Wolf Grey paint; it’s only available with DM, GG, BC, EB and GWP.

Bench seat in the second row is only available in the LX or EX, can’t add premium package or nightfall because doing so adds captains chairs.

Thanks for the confirm. Shame that 8-pass cannot be had with features that are hard to give up once you’ve had them before (decent headlights, surround view, etc).

I totally agree with you!! We want bench seat with all the fixings but for now that just isn’t in thing in the US unfortunately. I think Canada is different. They do get bench seat in the higher trims with more features. Not quite sure though.

Thanks! Having done initial research online, all my assumptions/preferences were upended by my dealership visit and test drive.

I like interiors to be bright and have colors (not just 360 dark, and I’ve never been interested in Grey leather as seen on other cars. so I was pretty certain I was going to order Dune. And everyone here raves about it. But I wasn’t blown away. And comparing it to another vehicle on the lot I couldn’t help noticing how bright and airy the interior is with the light color… not just the seats but just as crucially the lower dash, console, glovebox, door cards, etc.

Kia’s “grey” is a misnomer.

So apparently now my compromised choices are either my third choice color Moss if it’s SXP or give up the prestige package to get Sangria… or just embrace the dark side with WG/black (saw WG/Dune in person and didn’t think it really gelled)…

the driver memory seats are something we really wanted as i really liked having it with 1 of our last cars...i was disappointed that it wasn't offered in other trims or at least with an add on package

Hopefully one last thing to confirm is not an online configurator glitch before locking down my internal thought/ordering process:

Grey leather on SX comes with black lower dash, glovebox, etc...while Nappa grey on SXP comes with a lighter color?

I think that's a configurator error. Black interior is all black, with light gray headliner. Gray interior is gray seats, partial gray door trim, and lower dash (gray being almost white/beige). Headliner remains light gray. Brown interior (Dune on SXP, Butterscotch on SX) comes with brown seats/door inserts/lower dash, and black headliner.

It doesn't matter what trim level, it should all match up the same way (i.e. gray lower dash on all gray trims). The only difference is sofino/leather/nappa seat trim.
