• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Getting ready for some long vacation trips across the country, I dusted off our sweet bike rack to re-familiarize and do some pre-fitting of the newer trail bikes this morning. Strongly recommend this Thule rack, which folds with all the sturdy secure straps, receiver lock bolt, and most importantly, it folds back to allow access to the rear liftgate for loading/unloading.

For anyone that participates in biking, a hitch mounted bike rack is a must.

It looks like this rack carries 2 bikes? Is it expandable? Is there a 4-bike model?

I have the 4 bike version, works great, Thule is an excellent brand. Sorry to see your booboo by the way aerodude.

You’re very observant! Backed into my sons massive wench on the front of his pickup the other night. That rear quarter panel is effectively hidden from the cameras. A slight rub but it did tear the plastic a bit. Replacing it would involve the entire rear end panel so I’m not going to mess with it. Looking into how I could do a local cosmetic repair tho.

Thx, @Aeroguy. Enjoy the trails. I’m looking at both Thule and Kuat. I may need to go with platform style for the kids’ bikes. Actually, first I need to install a hitch.
