• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello all! new member here!

Have a tough choice to make WG SXP NF with Dune or with Black Napa! Any thoughts from
fellow TR emthusiasts?

Dune looks much premium for me…

Dune feels more luxurious and in fact once we knew Dune was available with WG, it helped us finalizing our decision about the color. The black interior does not look special IMHO while the gray and dune interiors make the prestige package worth it. My only complaint with dune is the darker headliner, I wish they had chosen a lighter shade of brown but at the end of the day, dune seemed much nicer to us so we went for it.

This is 100% personal preference as both options have positives and potential negatives, depending on the person.

Dune positive:
* Looks very upscale
* Exclusive to Prestige
* Dark headliner
Dune negative:
* Brown doesn’t match the theme of the Nightfall exterior

Black positive:
* Matches the exterior theme
* Always a safe option
Black negative:
* Hotter in the summer
* Shows dirt/crumbs more
* Light headliner (this could be a positive in some viewpoints)

Personally, I’d choose black seats on a Nightfall (especially Wolf Gray) to match the exterior theme. On a non-Nightfall (no Wolf Gray option) I’d choose Dune because of upscale look.

Yes, looks like ..

If you only plan on keeping it for a little while then dune. If you plan on keeping it 7+ years then black.

Out of curiosity, why do you say that?

I’ve owned several with both, and the lighter colors always seem to wear worse, and look dirty and old faster. Also, if you have a wife who wears jeans/pants that bleed, then watch out. Don’t ask how I know.

Bleeding pants aren’t generally an issue if you keep the leather conditioned… just rub of the “conditioner coating” with the dyes in it and reapply.
