  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey,

I recently placed an order for a white on dune brown SX-P Nightfall. I live in Birmingham, AL but after talking with local dealers, I instantly realized they were shadier than the dark side of the moon. They all seemed to act like ordering a new Telluride took an act of congress during an election year. I then found this forum and saw many posts referencing Brandon Paluszak at I-25 Kia in Longmont, CO and provided his number. I said what the hell and called him this past Saturday morning. Within 30 minutes I had ordered the Telluride I wanted with a $500 deposit for no more than MSRP. Gonna be a wait, but that’s all good. Thanks all!

Did you consider Bramlett kia in Alabama?

I did not. I looked at Riverchase and Serra. After searching the ‘good dealer’ thread and not finding anything close by, I went with I-25 Kia. It gave me an excuse to visit a friend nearby and take a long drive back to get acquainted with it.

If distance is not a problem then you're good. I am from Alabama too and I placed an order with Bramlett Kia for MSRP.

Well dang, I may have done that if I knew. Looking forward to a short trip now though. No biggie.

Ha, a car meet only parents would notice. Btw, thanks again to Starkdaz for mentioning Bramlett. After thinking about not having a set date delivery date while trying to set up a flight or days off work for an out of state pickup, I called Bramlett and asked for Noah Pride. I reordered the same options for the exact same price and out down a non-refundable $1000 deposit. I was able to get my $500 deposit refunded from I-25 Kia.

Awesome. How much time did he quote for you? And what did you order? Sx or ex?

He quoted 51,210 for a white on nappa dune brown SX-P with nightfall and towing package. Only other option is cargo folding tray.
I also want the illuminated scuff plates, multicolored interior lights, and mud guard kit, but he said they are currently out of them. Those can be added on later if available.

Don't buy the multicolored interior lights. They are not good. How much time did he tell? 3 months?

Good to know, those kind of sounded like an afterthought since they aren’t controlled by the infotainment system. I told him that was the least wanted option.
He said 3-6 months and that it may be changed to a 2023 model if it takes a long time. The price will not change though.

^ Maybe MSRP won't change; but the price certainly will if Kia corporate changes the MSRP. At least that's what they made clear to me.
