• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Orange Daytime Running Lights

Only the SX has the amber running lights...Other trim models have white only.
Hello guest, thanks for chiming in and responding to a 30-month old post with an answer that has been inaccurate for well over a year now. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I remember back in da the day when every car had orange lights and everyone wanted to upgrade them to white. Now orange is the new white.
So true! EX models come with Orange light too just FYI. Have to get the premium package though👍

Thanks for answering a 3 year old question incorrectly. 👍

This thread is pretty sad, basically waves of people quoting ancient posts, giving inaccurate info, occasional corrections by people who know what they’re talking about, then people giving more incorrect info, which is then corrected, etc, etc.

I’ll repost my correct answer from another thread, but realize it’ll just get buried by more people quoting the original post from 2019. 🤦🏻‍♂️

For Tellurides sold in North America, the color of the DRL is tied to the type of headlights as equipped from the factory.
Halogen headlights = white LED DRL.
LED headlights = amber LED DRL.

It’s that simple.

But for a more detailed trim by trim analysis:

Canada
2020-2022
ALL trims = amber DRL

USA
2020-2022
LX = white DRL

2020-2022
S = white DRL

2020-2022
EX = white DRL
2020
EX Premium = white DRL
2021-2022
EX Premium = amber DRL

2020-2022
SX (all) = amber DRL

New Ower of a SX Prestige, well will be when it comes in. I think it would be great if you could change the color of the daytime lights. Even if you matched them to the ambient light color inside the cagin.

Most states require DRLs be white or amber. If you start allowing any other colors then ambulances, police cars and fire trucks start getting harder to notice.

I love the bright amber lights.....others on the road out there can't miss ya!!!

Yes, getting one to flash red and the other blue would be a great counter to those that flash their high beams at my LED's!:oops:
