At times I've been pretty opinionated on this forum, sometimes to my own detriment. I also have a FWD and don't have anything close the vibration that is being experienced by those with the AWD vibration. (That's based of a video that I got from a PM.) I will say this AWD vibration is not just an annoyance, far from it. For those who have it, I am very sympathetic that this is a huge problem. Unless you have experienced it firsthand or seen a video of what is being discussed, I would be careful trying to downplay this problem. This doesn't appear to me to be a small issue that becomes an annoyance. If it were me I would be pissed if the problem started on an AWD that I purchased, but I would be even more livid at the lack of acknowledgement by Kia and some of their dealer network that there is a problem. Based on the video that I saw it is very clearly not normal unless you are driving a dump truck with knobby tires. I don't think there is an off-road feeling mode that people are signing up for. The fact that Hyundai acknowledged it on the Palisade but the problem still appears to persist on some AWD Tellurides from MY2020, 2021, and 2022 would make me really worried if Kia were trying to increase their production numbers that the quality problem is there and will be magnified at scale with more volume. This will kill your resale if you end up having the problem with no resolution. If you get the problem and get offered a buyback, I would strongly consider it if there is no other answer. If you are buying an AWD used, I would take it on the highway and get it up to speed and see how comfortable a ride is. The nappa seats won't feel as good when you start feeling like you were taken to the cleaners.
My advice to anyone with the problem, use the NHTSA complaints to make sure your situation is noted. That's the only way it will get attention. New buyers make decisions based off of those complaints and car reviewing companies and websites take notice, as a result the manufacturers have to respond.
