Did you have Kia Corinth tint the windows or someone else? Does anyone know which window tinting company Kia Corinth uses to tint their vehicles?

I did not have them tint my windows. They told me it was going to be $599. I’m bringing my car to a place called Flexshield in Denton. He didn’t know the shop that they used but said it was somewhere in Denton.

Spoke with a dealership near me and was quoted 4-6 months. Based on the suggestions here I did ask how many orders they have ahead of me and they said 50. I looked at failcat and saw they’ve only had 140 total so far. The fact they have 50 ahead of me and only received 140 total doesn’t leave me much hope. What are your thoughts? I don’t see a lot of the type I want being sent out overall; not sure if that matters. I am wanting an EX AWD no additions, I’m not picky on color or anything.

I placed an order at Jake Sweeney in Florence Ky around the middle of September. I watch Failcat everyday and so far I’m still waiting. I’m not in a hurry but perhaps by Christmas I’ll hear something.

I was quoted $1,500 for uncovered, $1,900 for covered to CA. I think you can arrange your own for cheaper.

Wow, that’s ridiculous to have to wait that long. I’ve seen other posts where it was three months from order to delivery. JS has ordered over 300 so you would think we would get better turn around. I’m going to call them today to get a update. I’m retiring at the end of next year and I’m giving up my co car so I need a vehicle. But the COVID vaccine mandate might squeeze me out sooner- then what. I may have to cancel my order to buy something now.

I’ll be curious if they have any updates for you. I ordered mine towards the end of August and haven’t heard anything. I’m not expecting it until end of year, but would love to see it sooner - of course!

Many other people have posted where they waited 6-8 months. There is a huge variance, so it's really hard to know which side of the spectrum you'll end up on.

New to the forum, i just placed an order yesterday 11.8.2022 for a 2022 SX Telluride AWD Nightfall in Ebony Black w/ Butterscotch interiror. I was ball parked 3-4 month waiting time.

I was recently made aware of Failcat and began to look at the delaership in which i ordered from. IDK if i just dont know what im doing but the allocation number for my specific dealer seemed very low and made me question whether this is because they have not placed many orders or they just receive a very limited alotment. Failcat isnt showing a Telluride delivery in 2021, but i saw a 2022 Telluride on the lot.

Could someone please shed some light on how this could happen who is more familiar with the process?

I ordered the same thing. Kia is not manufacturing a lot of the plain EX. Sometimes they will go weeks without a new one showing up on Failcat. I ordered August 20th, order was picked up September 12th, but the vin didn't get generated until just the other day. My ETA is in December. So they are definitely slower. That, in combo with the allocation you mentioned, could make for a long wait.
