Here are a couple of cool features of the Kia Access app. My 2021 Telluride S has been at the collision repair center for almost three weeks due to hitting a deer. I report on this in detail in this thread. When I dropped it off, I was told it would be kept outside in a lot until the parts came in. I went there a week later to grab some stuff from the back and indeed it was outside in a lot packed in with other vehicles waiting for parts.
Naturally, everyday I wonder when work will start on it. About 3 days ago I started getting notifications (about 3-4 throughout the day) on my Kia Access app that the doors were unlocked, which means that someone had been opening and closing the doors. Today I went back into the app and poked around and found this view (See screenshot below.) which shows that the hood is open. This can only mean one thing. The Telluride is now inside the shop and being worked on. So interesting what the tech can do in this context.
