• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Here are a couple of cool features of the Kia Access app. My 2021 Telluride S has been at the collision repair center for almost three weeks due to hitting a deer. I report on this in detail in this thread. When I dropped it off, I was told it would be kept outside in a lot until the parts came in. I went there a week later to grab some stuff from the back and indeed it was outside in a lot packed in with other vehicles waiting for parts.

Naturally, everyday I wonder when work will start on it. About 3 days ago I started getting notifications (about 3-4 throughout the day) on my Kia Access app that the doors were unlocked, which means that someone had been opening and closing the doors. Today I went back into the app and poked around and found this view (See screenshot below.) which shows that the hood is open. This can only mean one thing. The Telluride is now inside the shop and being worked on. So interesting what the tech can do in this context.

I'm sure the technicians hate this. I wouldn't be surprised they don't have a way to defeat it.

That is a pretty neat use of the app. On an aside, you might want to have a new Cabin filter ready to go or at least check the cabin filter when you get the vehicle back. Little critters find their way to nest in there and makes for a nasty smell if you don’t catch it. I’m sure a dealer holding lot for repairs is a great spot for a mouse to make its way from vehicle to vehicle.

Thanks for the info. That's interesting. It's been in the high teens/low twenties most every night and into the mid thirties throughout the day for the last 3 weeks. Does this still happen in cold weather conditions like this?
