• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... A few days ago, I was backing out of the driveway, and the backup camera started flickering between the video and a green screen with a message, "No camera signal received. Try again later." It hasn't happened again, but I am concerned. Has it occurred to anyone, and was there a resolution?

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Nope.

It just happened to my this morning.
Did it happened to you again ? Any fix ? Thanks

I took it to my dealer. I am not sure if they knew what the problem was, but said that the camera was probably defective. It took a month for the camera to arrive and to have it installed. I am not convinced that the issue was defective camera, but I haven’t had any problems yet, Fingers crossed!

The flickering of the “No Camera Signal Received” message happened on my 22 AWD a couple of weeks ago. I was out running errands for a couple hours with 4 or 5 stops, and it happened each leg of the trip after turning off the car and restarting. I got home and called the dealer, who advised me to reset the screen (the tiny button under the volume knob). I got back in the car a couple hours later to do that, and the camera was working as usual. I did not reset, did not perform any updates, and it has worked perfectly since then.
That’s a long way of saying that I don’t think anyone can definitively say what the problem is, or how it’s fixed. It’s possible that G-851763’s problem was fixed because of the update, or it could have just fixed itself like mine did. The update might not have had anything to do with it. Similarly, others who have reported taking it to the dealer, may have also just luckily had it start working again rather than it having actually been addressed and fixed (or it could have indeed been addressed and fixed). None of this makes me confident that this won’t happen again or that Kia understands the issue. From what I can tell, it seems like a fairly common problem for 22’s.
