Hello! New member here to the Telluride Forum. Thanks to all of you for providing insight into the Telluride Ordering Process. Without your help, I probably would have never ordered one, as I refuse to pay the absurd markups that dealers in CA are trying to get for new cars.
I ordered from Fowler on Feb 5. Javier is my contact and handled my order. He has so far been great and patiently answered all of my questions. Will wait the 5-7 months or possibly more that he said were the current wait times as of Feb 5.
I was able to test drive one at my local dealer and loved this SUV.

Because I am saving on the cost by not paying the market adjustment, I upgraded to the SX Prestige Nightfall. I chose Gravity Gray exterior. It was close between Gray and Black Copper. I chose the Gray Nappa interior. The only additional add on I chose was the tow package.

Our neighbors have a Gravity Gray. It's very nice -- I think you will enjoy it. Hope it comes soon for you! I'm still waiting too.

I see that you chose the Everlasting Silver. I have seen the Silver and I like that color. I just got rid of my older Trailblazer that was Silver and I wanted a change. I see that you got the Butterscotch interior, have you seen that interior color yet or are you ordering it 'blind'.? I have not seen the Kia Butterscotch interior in person. That combination should be real nice. Hope you get yours soon, it has been a while now for you and should be soon.

Yes, I chose ES but only for practical reasons. I hate having a dirty car. I also hate spending time and money washing my car. Those two things don't go together very well! HA! So I got ES because it seems to be the most forgiving on looking clean the longest even if it isn't.

As far as butterscotch, I have seen one in the neighborhood. Someone once described it to me as the color of peanut butter and I would say that was a pretty accurate description. I live in Houston region where it gets so hot, I wanted to avoid black interior.

My wife had the gray interior on her '22 Sportage so if it is the same as the Telluride gray interior, you will love it. It's very classy. I said she "had" it on her car because it was recently totaled (not our fault) so we are having to buy another one again but it will have to be a '23 as they stopped making the 22's earlier this month.

Thank you for the reply. My Telluride will be replacing my 2013 Lexus CT 200h. I love my Lexus,, but need something bigger. So, after research, decided on the Telluride. I am happy with my choice, but this will be the longest I have ever waited for a new vehicle.
Thank you for creating this great forum that is a wealth of information on all things Telluride. You guys and the current members really do go above and beyond in assisting others in navigating the buying and owning process.
