Order to delivery time

I just ordered 2 hours ago. SX, NF, P. Was provided a 12 month timeframe from Luther Kia in MN.

Well maybe you can shop around & see if you can find anywhere else and which ever comes in first you take? i didn’t order, I was going to but I got very very lucky. I looked @ failcat sheet, found a few… called around.. and found one that was a cancelation I guess!

I kept watching failcat for the trim level, color, and options I ordered at my specific dealership. Plus my sales person said I was next in line so it was pretty easy to find.

Ordered September 21, 2021. ETA was 3-6 months. Our dealership in Lubbock, TX says our car is built, but won't be delivered until late March/early April. Tried looking it up on Failcat and do not see a VIN for our specifications (EX V6 AWD, Black Copper, Gray Interior). Does anyone know what that means?

Just my 2cents............If your dealer is telling you your car is built they should be able to provide you a vin#. Once you receive that you should be able to look it up on Failcat.

And sometimes they don’t show up in failcat! But if you can get a vin from your dealer, you can tell the date it was considered “built” by comparing it to the other vins.

Got ours this past weekend. My wife loves the rump roaster seats. Happy V day (although it was anniversary, Christmas and birthday too, she says i milked it for too many things, so we named it Milky).

Ordered mine 9/20/21 and was told 4-6 months but averaging 3-5 months. It’s February 15th and no VIN yet. We have spoke with KIA customer service and our dealership. Dealership said we are second in line and we have waited the longest of all their customers. I check failcat every morning :/

Sweet lord, I can’t imagine having to do that twice. Took about 4.5 months on mine. Lead times getting worse and not better though it seems. Gossett Kia in Memphis did good at retail.

Just got told that mine got picked up at Gossett Kia but no delivery ETA yet. I ordered on 1/3 so we'll see how long it takes.

Wow! That’s pretty quick! I ordered from Gossett in a October, it was picked up in KFOS early Dec, showed up in failcat (and verified with dealer) 2/9, and suppose to be here next week.

Yeh maybe it’s getting better instead of worse, some conflicting info. Bout time to get this nonsense over with so I sure hope so! Get about 20 on the lot of every dealer to choose from. Also the new logo looks awesome, way better, glad I got a ‘22.
