• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I bought a used 2021 Telluride and there is an icon I want to delete. It comes on automatically and it is “sounds of nature”. I will start my car and hear a fire crackling or birds and frogs. it is unnerving. Help!

No way to delete unfortunately. If you use bluetooth audio when the car is turned off, it will default to SoN when you start the car next time. Unless the phone is able to pair to the car first, which won’t always be the case.

One option would be to mute the volume or switch to radio before turning off the car. When you start later, you wouldn’t hear SoN. There is also a setting in the menus to turn off the audio automatically at start up in the head unit settings.

Thank you for your prompt and thorough reply! I will graph it out and put it on a post it near the screen until I get it resolved. (What depraved individual thought it would be a good idea to permanently install a crackling fire sound in a car?)

Since I have found such a knowledgeable source I have another question: I have often had people flashing their high beams at me. I check and mine are never on. Who wants to be that person, anyway? I tried using the auto high beams hoping that would help with oncoming drivers. Is the car too high? What do I do? Thanks!

Really, all you need to do is turn the volume to zero when Sounds of Nature is on. Then it will forever be silent unless you ever turn it back up. This is because every source (radio, Bluetooth, CarPlay, Sounds, etc) has its own volume level.

So do that once, and you'll never hear it again, even if it is ever somehow turned on again.

Could bring to your dealer and ask them to adjust the beam height. If they don’t know how or give you excuses, show them this document.

Can also easily be adjusted yourself with a Torx T60 tool. I was also able to adjust using a philips head screwdriver.

this forum has already been so satisfying! I have to take the car to a collision center for a scrape repair and can get them to do it. I will print out the info you kindly included.
I drove a prudent little Honda Fit for 10 years. Fit is a great little city car but then the Telluride—whoa! I want to live in it.
thanks again!
