Did KFOS open up for March already?

I am being told I went from 7th in line to 4th but thought they don't open up until the middle of the month. I hope not as I was hoping to get my new ride by mid May.

Maybe people canceling their orders or they received extra allocations after KFOS closed.

I wonder if KFOS is opening up every two weeks now. My guy (Dominic-Fowler) told me he would now be notifying me every two weeks on status and I also noticed that @StephenCantrelle posted that KFOS opened up yesterday.

I ordered about a month after you from Fowler and would be interested as well. I figured before I ordered it woukd be awhile, but would be open to luck getting it sooner

Got an interesting call just now from my dealer. Placed order 1/25/2022 and it was very chaotic - no one to help us but a manager who then had someone work numbers and gave them the sale. I called last month to see if my order had been pulled into KFOS and the sales rep answering the phone told me no (my “assigned rep” wasn’t there). Today is the first communication received and I was told it was built but no eta or VIN. I specifically asked it that meant it had been pulled into KFOS and I don’t think she had a clue what I was talking about

I just thought it was strange that my first communication coincided with the timeframe of KFOS opening up and hope that means it was accepted!

I was wondering the same thing. When I reached out to my sales person on Tuesday he told me he was talking with his manager and it was possible they would have an ETA on mine with next months allocations. I was at 42 March 3rd so I was wondering if he was finding out if KFOS was opening up soon.

Just found out today my dealership only got allocated 5 this month when last month they got 10 allocations so now I'm number 2 on the list. So much for thinking I was getting picked this month

Is there any way to verify that something got picked up on KFOS before it has a VIN? A dealer is trying to sell me a unit that he says arrives April 2, but when I asked him to print out the KFOS order for me so I could verify the add-ons he listed, he wouldn't, and wrote them on a post-it instead. Alternatively, is there any reason a dealer wouldn't want to print out a KFOS order for a customer other than they're hiding something?

If he already has the VIN which he should by now you can run the Mulroney tag and see what options it has

Absolutely normal, especially if your dealer is close to the plant. VIN's generally show up between 2 and 6 weeks before the ETA.
