Anyone Purchased from Jim Butler Kia in Chesterfield, MO?

Ordered an SX N on 3/25. We were told 4-6 months. They said that Kia was stopping production on bench seats and doubling production on the captains seats so it should go a little quicker. Salesman also said to not add any add-ons so that we aren't waiting on wheel locks or something small to finish up.

I ordered from Jim Butler in mid December and still haven’t heard anything definitive. I am less than pleased with my salesman.. I feel like he just keeps saying what he thinks I want to hear. I was told 2-4 months and I’m already at the 3 month mark. Order hasn’t even started building. Pretty frustrating.
whos your salesman?

Huge bummer! Thanks for responding. Still no ETA on mine but I bet that means I’m looking at end of June.
My telluride has arrived! I hope you hear something soon if you haven’t already!

Now that the 2023's are coming, I'll likely order one (if at all) through Jim Butler.

Yay! Gives me hope that our SX nightfall will arrive before they convert to 2023 and nightfall is discontinued.

Nightfall isn't being discontinued, just renamed.

Hi all, I placed an order for my wife on March 4, 2022 for a SX AWD NE with Jim Butler Kia. Was told 3 - 6 months. Got really excited last week because my exact configuration showed up in failcat and I had read a story here of someone getting theirs after about waiting a month only. Inquired with my sales person and it wasn't mine. Oh well. Was told I'm "still in line" (whatever that means) and that it'll likely be about 6 months from order date, so end of August/beginning of September.

Seems like this dealership is just now delivering September '21 orders which is even more of a bummer. We really want a '22 and don't care for the '23 front fascia or digital dash. Sales person said they have no idea when Kia will switch to '23 production. Kia would alert the dealership when it is line change and they will call all orders waiting and update.

Fingers crossed that a miracle happens or people in front of the line are already switching to '23 so their '22 slot becomes available to people who still want one. Time will tell.

I understand that a facelift typically redesigns to the lights, bumpers etc. but I think Kia dropped the ball here with getting rid of the signature amber square daytime running lights. Wouldn't surprise me if some aftermarket company made some that fit the '23. Doubt that you could just swap them.

I ordered end of September and am picking mine up today. What color combo did you order?

 What are the odds?! Good taste! If I end up having to get a '23 let me know if you want to swap cars, haha. Please post pics so I can live vicariously through you :giggle:

We ordered an SX P nightfall on 11/17/21. No word yet but based on abudwell’s timeline I’m hopeful we will hear our order is picked up any day now, with a late may/early June eta. Like you I really want a 22.

I think you're safe for a '22 based in that timeline. Does anybody know when they switched production from '21 to '22? not that it means anything but could be an indicator. Also, didn't Kia say during this week's presentation that they upped production by 20%?

It’s amazing! Pics don’t do the butterscotch color justice. It’s so good! This vehicle is so awesome!

I ordered my telluride from Lou Fusz in St.Louis around the end of November last year and dealer said it would be around 3-5 months. I just picked it up it yesterday, a EX model and i asked the sales person if demand is still high for these, and he said right now if you were to order one you would be looking at 8-10 months now. Unreal

I placed my order through Jim Butler Kia at the end of March for a 2022 EX Nightfall with the Tow Package. I was told that it was very likely it would end up being a 2023 model year since it was going to be a 6-7 month wait, which I was fine with at the time and now I'm excited about now that I've seen the interior upgrades. I was promised MSRP so hopefully that is true and I don't get the rug pulled out from under me when I go to pick it up.

I ordered mine from Jim Butler on 3/25 and was told it would more than likely be a '22.

Got a text from my salesman after the announcement wanting me to pick up something unallocated so that I dont get stuck with a 2023. Not really sure what to think now.

Jim Butler is allocated ~30 a month. If 22's are converted to a 23 starting in September that gives me a ~210 vehicle buffer before I'm converted. I just hope that Kia increases production and I get mine before they switch.

Interesting. What does "wanting me to pickup something unallocated" mean? Thought you already put in your order? My salesperson said she had no idea whether I'd get a 22 or 23. Ordered 3/4, so 3 weeks before you.
