• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Nice where'd you get yours from?

Very nice! Debating if I should install these as well. From the picture it looks like yours are the same color with some chrome on it. But that’s just front the reflection correct? Can you take another pic from the side to get a better view. Thanks

Very nice so I am guessing there are a few different vendors or companies offering these?

I think there's a couple companies. Dawn Enterprise ones are well made and well packaged. They have plain color matched ones, but I'm old and like chrome. The ones with inserts stick out just a bit more for a little more protection.

They look great on my vehicle.

Aren't these just for looks and not for any real protection against door dings? Or am I being daft?

Given the taper of the door, I don't see how it could protect anything.

That is a good observation. Given the numerous body styles of vehicles…

I like to use the body side molding along with the door edge molding. Works very well to protect myself from ME, when parked next to my other vehicle in the garage.

As a plus, I like the styling look of the molding on the Telluride. Looks like it belongs there.

Comments?

I should have walked outside and tested before commenting ;) Keyboard got ahead of the brain!

I just tested the Telluride next to an Accord, and certainly if the molding is about the width of my finger (or a little less) it would take the ding and not the body. Even though the door does taper in a bit, there is enough there in the molding to do the job.

And I get what you saying about protecting me from me; I have exactly the same situation in my garage...kind of tight in there, and it's just a matter of time before I or my wife accidentally let the door open too far.
