Hell yes. I don’t care if I’m an early adopter, THOSE TUBES HAVE TO GO.All right, guys, the update came early!
Big news for people who actually use the radio and hated the tubes. Also, reorderable presets!

Update said it would take 45 minutes, but took much longer than that. All is well other than I have no clue how long it took. Ready to test it out.
I wish I had not done that update. I miss having (customizable) radio and maps (for speed limits) up at the same time. Maybe the new update is babysteps back to that.I'm still using the 3 panel and no purple haze![]()
There’s one update for navigation units. Download it and install it… it’ll update your maps and apply the new features.Okay, so just to be clear, there are two updates? One for Nav and one for the Infotainment/Radio?
That was the second-most recent version until yesterday. But it wouldn’t have mattered even if your system hadn’t been updated for years… you just install the newest update available. It’s that simple. My software version appears to be the one from October of 2021 (ends in 211006). Do I need to apply subsequent updates in order before applying this new update? Or can I just download the new update and install it and be on my way?
Ambient light is the same as always. You can choose color and brightness. There is no option to change anything else. It will dim slightly in drive, there is no setting to change that. Can anyone confirm that if this new update did something to the ambient light? Like give us an option to NOT dim down when shifted to drive ?
Thanks for the reply! I had seen people talking about November Updates so I thought there had been other updated after the October one. There’s one update for navigation units. Download it and install it… it’ll update your maps and apply the new features.

Actually, my bad, I read October and then interpreted that as November for some reason. (Too much commenting on the last 24 hours about these updates!) So no, you didn’t have the most recent version (sorry). But like I said, it doesn’t matter. You just install the newest update. Thanks for the reply! Good news is that update isn’t for you because as far as I can tell, you have navigation.
I had ignition on up the point of starting it. I then left a battery charger on it in case it kills the battery (It really shouldn't since there isn't that much draw but I have one). I know if you just leave it on accessories, it goes off after a short period of time.Remind me, does the vehicle need to be running the two hours?
