Not a fan of either bumper, but the light-colored bumper on the back especially sticks out badly.Found some pictures of 2023 model that was testing in S Korea.
This one looks like non-X series, I like the changes and new wheel design.

Blinker is on. Notice how the passenger side doesn’t match (that’s the DRL, same as we saw at the launch).I wonder if the 3rd pic is the blinker on, or the orange drl's on a higher trim? I think it looks nice. Like the 1st gen, if there are more exterior dislikes, just wrap or dip it. Personally I think they have done a good job and if am excited to start seeing them on the road
I do now Guess I could've zoomed in, but thank you. What are your thoughts on the 23?Blinker is on. Notice how the passenger side doesn’t match (that’s the DRL, same as we saw at the launch).
Exactly correct. If they where Orange they both would be on at the same time.Blinker is on. Notice how the passenger side doesn’t match (that’s the DRL, same as we saw at the launch).
I think it's fine, definitely good updates for a mid-cycle refresh. I'm more than happy with my 2020, but the interior and tech upgrades for the 2023 are especially very enticing. The exterior doesn't bother me as much as some others, and if I got one, it'd probably be a top end X-Line (the X-Pro would definitely have a louder ride given the knobbier tires).I do now Guess I could've zoomed in, but thank you. What are your thoughts on the 23?
I agree on the headlights. I hated the new grill and headlights at first but then I realized my issue wasn't with the design itself, just that the previous version was slightly better. So we went from a 10/10 to a 9.5/10. Still great.I don’t know who green lit those bumpers. I can understand those bumpers on the X-trims because they are trying to look “rugged” but now it seems those hideous bumpers will be on all models? Just horrible.
The new grill looks great though and the headlights have really grown on me. I actually think I might like those headlights better than the current ones.
My speculation on why they got rid of the iconic orange DRLs is that those aren’t actually legal in many countries outside the USA so perhaps it streamlines Kia’s manufacturing to just produce the same headlights that will be legal everywhere.
Damn was really hoping those bumpers would stick to the "X" models! Wheels aren't an improvement either imo. Oh well, we'll see what the finished SX product is in a few months.
New Palisade is growing on me more and more.
