• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Thank you for your post. I’m needing some side steps and am anxious to get your feedback on the install. What was the cost?

Update - Installed with pics. Comments: Took approximately 2.5 hours to install. I spent plenty of time taking pictures of the install just in case someone here may have questions. Fairly simple installation: 4 brackets using 8 bolts. Did not remove any parts, unlike the U.S. version of the side steps where rocker panels are removed. Overall, happy with the side steps and appreciated the ease of install.

Those look really nice. Not the handicapped style that running boards typically look like on Tellurides.

Those look great. Did you have to remove or cut around the felt panels from underneath? Seems like the felt panels would interfere with mounting. I had to take mine off to bolt on my Black Horse running boards.

Do you find them functional? (I can see them being pretty handy to wash the roof). Also what was the approximate cost?

Thanks. I did not have to touch the felt panels underneath. I was worried about having to cut or take parts off because the Canadian dealer did not provide much information and they did not have the installation instructions handy.

I find the side steps a little functional. Like you stated, I can now reach the roof for cleaning and they provide extra steps to help me get out with less sliding out of my chair. I have history of wearing out the leather sides of my chairs in SUVs from the consistent rubbing along the years. The biggest benefit for me is my wife is on the short side and the extra step is a ginormous help (she's also pregnant right now).

The bad part: after owning and using the Telly for approximately 2 months without the side steps, I have to get used to the side steps being there because I've already hit my shins on them a couple of times.

Cost was 798.00 Canadian and 185.00 CAD for shipping to Southern California (total 983.00). After paying, my bank converted that to $764.86.
