• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello, we just witnessed our rear passenger window explode while driving down the highway at 70 mph. Window was rolled up, temp outside was around 57’ so it wasn’t extreme weather. I saw a forum that mentioned similar happening to other telluride owners. Two of our kids 4 and 11 were sprayed with glass when this happened. This isn’t safe.

Yes, this is something that's been happening to - it seems all the brands lately. It's usually the panoramic glass roofs, but sometimes the rear hatch glass as well. Somebody is going to have to come up with a solution...

glass is too tight, and expands a bit too much, then breaks itself. it happens sometimes

This just happened to us today! Although we were not driving, we stopped for a restroom break. Went in & came out to it shattered & it is caught on video from the store. No one around or anything that could explain it

Sorry that this happened, I certainly hope your kids are okay. Did you contact the dealer regarding this? I'm wondering what their response was.
