• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

Would 2022 model get discontinued when 2023 comes out regardless of the market?

yes, they always convert their existing factories producing 2022 to produce the 2023. There is no doubt about it that 2022 will be discontinues once the start 2023 production.

another day, another sigh, no news about 2023 models, not even a peep
Don't you just hate it? Kia is awful at keeping customers updated. I asked my question because Telluride has never been introduced to Vietnam, however November is when they have promised to launch it.

Again, no one knows if it's 2022 or 2023. The little local articles you find about telluride coming to Vietnam have the product images mixed up. Some with 2022 and some 2023 model. So hard to know what to expect

Oh man I love the CX-9! The only reason I didn’t buy it was because of the third row being so cramped. This has me intrigued.
I owned a 2018 CX9 for two years… drove just like my old 04 Audi A6. Rally fun car to drive! My kids just got too big

On the same boat with Sept ETA and might pass for a 23. I don't know if my place will be reset, only time will tell. Are you or anyone considering Palisade, if the wait times are huge?
I have considered the palisade. I had a dealer in the twin cities call me saying I could receive one in 2 months… downside was it was that red wine color exterior. If they called with the new emerald green I’d most likely jump at it (my wife likes it too).

Here is the main downside for me with the palisade… no cup holders for kiddos in the 2nd row EXCEPT for the doors. When kids leave a can of anything, or bottle with cap off, and shut the door the liquid splashes all over. This happens almost daily in our 2018 traverse. Granted it is primarily Kirkland sparkle water cans and cleans up east, still annoying.

Telluride offers cup holders in the front center shared arm rests (backside in between the driver and passenger seat) so no more splashing. :-)

Back to the topic , when oh when will Kia open up orders!? Makes me feel like I’ve waited essentially a year before I’d expect delivery (ordered early December’21) might as well just wait longer and go EV9?

Anyone else thinking the same on EV9?

It is rumored to be getting a brand new turbo 3.0L inline six also 👍🏻

I'm definitely all ears when it comes to the new Pilot and CX-90. Right now, my top contender is a 2023 Palisade: the changes improve the look tremendously, and it's such a handsome and functional interior. Plus, I can get one about 4 months quicker than a Telluride.

Internal information has been released.. I unfortunately can not share as it is marked internal only.. but this is positive news as we are definitely one step closer..

Side note.. TONS of new things are coming to get excited about on the 23 year.. Keep an eye out on FB side as someone may leak the info..

Awesome! Can you tell us which day dealers received this info?

Hope it leaks or is released to the public soon. I'm getting close to biting the bullet on a 2023 Palisade and might have second thoughts once I see the info on the 2023 Telly.

Failcat hasn't received new VINs over the last 24 hours. It also show very slow productions over the last 2 days. Seems like 2022 is done.

No matter what the changes are, I would never buy a Palisade purely because of their push-button shifter. Just one man's opinion ......

I hate that too. It's a very un-car like feature.
Kinda like riding an automatic motorcycle. No way! Shifting with your heel, toes, and hand clutch are simply part of the enjoyment of riding a motorcycle.
