• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

Failcat observation: I was looking around to see if there were any Terracotta '23s yet but all Failcat lists is "Butterscotch", which then when you pull up the window sticker is Mahogany.
You need to look in the options column and you will see Terracotta (TER) there.

Thanks @StephenCantrelle for explaining how that works. One additional question - how often does Kia pickup orders - I was under the impression that it was about once a month? So if you put in custom orders last week and they have been filled (all but one), does that one person and other new ones have to wait until next month before Kia picks up more orders or does that happen more frequently? Thanks!
2 different systems.. Kdealer with weekly allocations and KFOS with monthly allocations.

Since this is a fresh roll out the weekly allocations filled first, if there was a perfect match(Example would be if color, Trim and drivetrain match)..

If not a perfect match then would move over to the KFOS queue..

In KFOS queue the dealer can customize order to fill pending orders on (FIFO)first in first out basis as long as dealer was allocated that Trim and Drivetrain.

For Example; KFOS earned 3 S models FWD, 0 EX FWD, 1 SX X-Line Prestige.

If dealer has 1 person waiting for an S FWD model in queue, 1 EX FWD in queue, 3 SX X-Line Prestige in queue then the result would be.

1 of the 3 (S models) FWD would be filled to custom order and the other 2 (S models) allocated can go to normal inventory.

The one EX FWD in queue can not be filled so they must wait till next allocation weather it be the weekly kdealer allocation or the KFOS allocation.

One of the 3 people with an SX X-Line Prestige would get filled in the KFOS allocation (FIFO) and the other 2 would move up a spot in the queue waiting to get filled either by the Kdealer weekly allocation or the KFOS once a month allocation.

If interested in more details you can use the search function at the top right corner.. select search title only box and search Kdealer vs KFOS and I go in more depth on our internal systems.

We haven't spoken about the kdealer weekly allocation in a long time because once backlog occurs on the Kia back side then we primarily will just be using the KFOS allocation.

Here is link to my incoming units and in stock units.. got a truck in yesterday so have a few available. I am adding additional units we just got assigned

Can only sell to Texas Residents

Unfortunately we are not at MSRP.. but wait time is much better than the year+ wait times at Corinth. Feel free to text me and I can go over more details if curious. 214-205-6490

Thanks Stephen. I will reach out to you. I have been to your dealer during my 2022 purchase and test drove S model.

Wow - thanks so much @StephenCantrelle! That makes so much more sense and fills in a lot of gaps in my knowledge. I really appreciate you taking the time to put that out there!

Buyers of X-PRO models, are you planning to switch 18" wheels to 20" wheels? I got 2022 EX with 18" wheels. Recommendation is to upgrade to 20" wheels for better handling. Do not know why KIA gave 18" wheels for most expensive trim.

Some of them say black interior, but you will see Terracotta on the window sticker.

Look harder. They are there. 5xyp5dgc8pg327905 is one.

It would make no sense to go with the X-Pro if you’re going to immediately ditch the off-road-oriented tires. Just go for the X-Line, then.

Now I am confused. It is the S trim in this video but it has the digital gauge cluster? I thought this is only available on higher trims like SX/SX-P?

We’ve been through this a bit. It’s not a fully digital cluster like the SX and up. It is not a fully customizable screen. Only the center 4.2“ portion is actually customizable or movable in any way.

Thanks, Stephen. Is that how just your dealership works, or do you think that is typical across the board?

This is by the book how it works for everyone.. now if you have a dealer with 100+ orders than those should be put in first in first out...

Keep in mind not everyone follows the proper way so there is always exceptions to the rules.
