In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

Everyone seems to say this but I think the palisade interior is hideous and targeted to the 50+ crowd. That’s fine, but it looks awful IMO.

Yeah definitely disagree. Pali interior appears much more expensive. And I wish the Telluride would eliminate the gloss black, but at least there’s not much of it.

I want to shake automakers and tell them to cut it out with the piano black trims.

I like the screen a lot better on the Telly.

Same screens, just different housing. I worry that the Telly gauge screen will have a problem with sun glare (without a hood), but time will tell.

The Telly is much more brawny outside, got that bad-boy look, no doubt while the Pally is more handsome in an sophisticated cute way. But inside, the Pally takes the cake, no question It is more luxurious and elegantly designed.

Agree- the leather patterns, clean looking dash, massaging driver seat, side buttons on passenger seat, and electric folding rear seats are nice touches. The beige interior on the Calligraphy is one of my favorite interiors I’ve seen this year. Less so for the black interior, but still nice.

There is piano black trim surrounding the Palisade screen. Much more noticeable than the piano black by the center console on the Telly

I am referring to the look. Telly is one cohesive looking screen (even though it’s still technically two screens). The Palisade obviously cuts the screens in two pieces surrounded by piano black trim which you mentored you hate above. The trim is what kills it for me.

And no power folding mirrors. Which is mind boggling to me.

Both have screens surrounded by fingerprint/scratch magnet- black material. They are both guilty of this crime. But the Kia also has piano black in the heavy traffic areas around the shifter, wireless charging area, and rear armrest cupholders. I wish they had gone with a matte, more sustainable material.

I agree with the piano black on any car should just not exist. But how is the Telluride surrounded by a fingerprint magnet? It is a brushed material, the rest is just a screen. The Palisade screen is surrounded by the piano black which makes it look very cheap and draws more attention than the area below. A lot of the interior on the Palisade is very nice, but the screen kills the look as it is so prominent and looks cheap to me.

Are you sure that's brushed material surrounding the Telly screen? I thought it was a shiny black, thick bezel. If not, I stand corrected. But both are guilty of the shiny black sin, which make both look cheap in those respective areas. Trust me, the beige interior on the Calligraphy Palisade is stunning. I also like how the Palisade went with white font on matte black buttons for some of the buttons on the center stack, rather than the silver buttons the Telly uses. Again, just classes it up a bit.

The housing around the screen is a brushed material. The bezel is the same material as the screen if that makes sense. The screen isn't edge to edge, but the bezel is the same material as the screen like on am iPad. If only we were allowed to pick features from both SUV's and make our own. Give me the Palisade interior in terracotta and a blacked out grill plus the Telluride screen and power folding mirrors.

I just don't like light color interiors on cars with two dogs and a kid. Also not a fan of black, I like mocha or saddle brown. Terracotta is the closest to saddle Kia offers and the mahogany is too purple for me.

I agree, I have 2 dogs and 2 kids, so the beige interior, while amazing looking, is probably a no-go for me. I think the Terracotta is too red/orange (to me, the Dune Brown was just right). I wish the X-Line offered a more standard brown or grey. Otherwise, black it is.

The Terracotta looks very similar to the saddle brown I had in my BMW. I loved that combo with white. It does read orange to some, but pictures can also be deceiving. People have mentioned that Terracotta doesn't look as orange in-person as it does in pictures.

I had "Cognac" coloured interior in my 2019 X3 and hope that Terracotta is somewhat close.

Here's some pics from the brochures we got in today at the dealership. My camera isn't the best but hopefully you can see the interior and exterior colors a little better.

Same color on mine. From the videos I have seen of the Terracotta, it looks very similar which is what I am hoping for.
