• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just picked up a 2023 SX X-line and everything seems pretty intuitive, except - how the hell do you set the target cruise control speed. I mean I can get it turned on, and it basically drives itself, but I can't adjust the target speed at all once it's on? I'm missing something obvious I'm sure, but I'm out of buttons to press. Referenced the manual, there's like 400 driver assist features and IDK which one is making this so difficult.

Thanks
Ryan

The +/- rocker switch right under the button to turn cruise control on. I can see the set speed change up/down in the heads-up display and in the instrument panel.

yeah mine wasn't doing that... I wonder if it's this "highway speed assist" thing I have on or something. I couldn't get it to change to target speed.

Mine can be kinda quirky, but I notice that it changes best once I've turned on the cruise control at about 30 mph or higher then take my foot off of the gas. Example on the fwy I'll turn it on, take my foot off of the gas petal so it can take over and then adjust to the speed I want. If the car in front of you is going slower, it won't speed up until the distance to the car is increased, but you should be able to set it where you want it.

yeah this is what I expected it to behave like, I'll give it another go in a bit. thanks.

took my first long trip just today and I dk if this is the right way but I just canceled the cruise control and turned it back on and set it again. I'm sure there's be a better way but I haven't figured it out yet. Hopefully someone can enlighten us.

Turn on cruise control, go greater than 20 mph (I think), then push the +/- toggle down to Set position, then you can increase or decrease target speed By pushing the +/- up or down.
