• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Weird behavior started on the 101-N near Morgan Hill, CA a couple days ago.

Thought it might just be a bug/glitch with electronics.

Took it on a drive yesterday after midnight. No issues.

Then later that morning took the Telly to the mountains for a snowboard trip and the electronic glitches started again mid-trip.

I parked around 8:30am, went snowboarding until about 2:30pm so that left the car off for a good amount of time.

When turning Telly on, this time the glitches didn't wait until mid-trip. Started earlier, has alerts for electronic parking brake, which was working, then more lights came up. About 5 minutes before reaching my parents' house, i felt the steering change (possible loss of electronically controlled power steering) and the current speed no longer displayed on the HUD.

Telly is parked safely. Going to call Kia and see what's up.

Just wondering if anyone has ever experienced anything like this?

I had front-end body work done recently after some dirty hippy with no insurance hit the front end with their hoopty hippie van while i was in the grocery store.

Previous to that, I had taken in the Telly to Kia for a FCA recall fix.

Other than that Telly has been well maintained, given me zero problems for 48k miles... until now 😂

Could be battery related?

Bad alternator causes the christmas lights also.

Definately battery. Typical warnings when the battery voltage drops and can't be maintained in normal driving conditions. I had a similar issue after 2 yrs of ownership. (coming up to 4yrs now) New battery installed. Problem solved.

Enjoy the ride new battery

Update: Car's fine now.

Appreciate the feedback and suggestions on what to check.

Car systems all checked out perfectly.

It wasn't the battery.

It wasn't the alternator.

Temporary electronic glitch?

Possessed by evil spirits? Should I rename my car "Christine"?

Maybe Telly has taken on the personality of its driver and is now averse/allergic to Northern California?

Anyone else experience fleeting non-repeatable glitches with their Tellurides?
