I have a 2023 Telluride LX with 4000 miles.
The other day I noticed that the engine was revving too high while driving around town. I was in Eco mode and autoshift. Shifts were occurring well past 3000 rpm.
I tried switching modes and that did not change anything. I am able to switch to manual mode and advance to 7th and 8th gear, but as soon as I switch back to auto, it downshifts to 6th gear no matter what speed I'm going.
I shut the engine down for a minute and that did not help. After shutting down for 15 minutes, that worked.
The vehicle was fine for about 5 days, but today I experienced the same thing.
I had the dealer check it out and since they could not reproduce it and there were no error codes, nothing was done. I plan on taking it back and leaving it until they fix it. This is a brand new vehicle.
