• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have a Kia Teluride 2021 EX and busted the passenger tail light. I ordered the tail light as described above and the part i received looks exactly as my tail light but it does not work with my car even so it is installed properly. ( looked at videos and it is really easy. After i did some investigation and instead of after market part (i looked at original KIA one twice more expensive ) the back of the light looked just the one i have on the car. Could it be that after market parts don't work on the 2021 EX? Did anyone have this problem?

I posted the two lights below. The one on the right light 3 is the original one on my 2021 Telliuride EX. The one i ordered on line as replacement is on the left light 1. They sold it as the correct light for the car. When i installed it it was not working. Clearly there are two different light if you look at the wireing. I did some research and found on eat KIA original parts which looks like my existing one twice as expensive. I was wondering if i am doing something wrong with instalaltion or they are selling a noncompatible light in the after market?

Your EX Trim has an LED rear lighting system, which is totally different than the lower trims (LX and S), which have halogen bulbs. That light will not work in your EX trim. You should return it order the other one.

Thank you. I thought so myself but trying to save some money. $200 vs $480.

Return it and I will sell you a brand new passenger LED for $225. I have one I do not need anymore.

If he did not buy it, I can use it
I do still have it. He did not purchase the taillight.

If is in good condition and passenger side as stated above and you can ship ASAP, I’ll take it. I have 15 days to get car reinspected so can renew the registration. We have a 2020 SX. Please feel free to email me at troytarpley @ yahoo.com and we can square up.

Thanks

Troy

It is mint, all tabs, no scratches on the lens.

Although this is an old post, I have a question I hope someone can answer. I have a 2020 Telluride S trim. I noticed my rear driver side tail light is cracked. (These use a bulb based on the comments). Any suggestions on where I can purchase a replacement at a reasonable price? The prices I have seen are crazy!

Ebay is usually pretty reliable. You can always check junk yards for a "pull your part" style option. I personally have used ebay to buy and sell taillights for the Telluride.
