i get ya.. are there any options from etrailer for something that attaches to the hitch? i thought i saw accessories like that..

Yes - there's quite a few options on etrailer and amazon. They're not easy to find on etrailer's site, but heres one search that worked for me:

well there ya go... im not crazy about a few, especially since i use a bracket to keep the hitch from moving around.. not sure if it would work with those..
