• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hello everyone, we’ve had out 2020 Telluride S AWD for about 5 months and I’ve noticed when I let off the gas it decelerates quickly and I have to add power to glide through a corner. It doesn’t seem right to me but I’m not sure if that’s just part of how they drive. We’ve had other AWD cars and they’ve never felt “draggy” like this. Does anyone have any insight?

Go to driver assist in the dash menu behind the steering wheel. In driving assist you will turn off (uncheck) the highway auto curve slowdown option. I noticed this on my 6 hr drive back from CT with my car when I picked it up and had to turn that off immediately. I can understand on a hairpin turn, but it does it even on easy gradual curves that do not require slowing down to take, which is going to cause an accident.

2020 doesn't have that option.

Check your owners manual. It may be located in a different section of the menus.

If this was directed at my response, Uh - no. I currently have a 20,22, & 23. I know what the features are on each vehicle.

Sorry, I was responding on my phone and didn't realize you weren't the OP asking the question.

Are you by any chance in sport mode?

I’ve tried it in every mode and it acts the same unfortunately. I’m wondering if it could be the viscous coupler. I’m going to call to get an appointment to see what’s going on.

Could possibly you have hill decent control on? It uses transmission braking to slow the vehicle when letting off the gas. Check the button to see if its illuminated.

Thanks for the reply but I don’t see it illuminated.

Could it be that you’re a two foot driver?

I kid, I kid.

I’ll see myself out.

LOL I wish that were the case! It would be an easy fix for sure.
