Telluride Lettering Install

I don't think the VIP lettering has the thick letters that the OEM lettering has. I use VIP for vinyl overlays.
KDM sells the OEM lettering. I have the black, but I believe you can also get it in brushed chrome.

Here is mine from VIP. I got the silver letters and added black vinyl overlays to get that trimmed look. This is on a 24 x-line Telly btw.

And just for comparisons sake on the 24, here is what the rear looks like. This is OEM but I added the black vinyl overlays myself.

I was going to put the 2020-22 Nightfall lettering on the front of my 24, but now you’ve got me questioning what to do because that looks sharp. Nicely done.

I will tell you the 2022 lettering is a bit wider. Same height, but wider. Up to you which font you want, old or new.

Yeah. That’s sick! The fact that you don’t have to plasti-dip or overlay is a big plus as well. Have you ever thought of wrapping the hood down to the back columns in black? Kind of a Range Rover two tone vibe that I’ve thought of doing to go along with the Telluride lettering.

Im doing this to mine later this week. Gloss black vinyl wrap. Love a good two tone on a larger vehicle like the Telluride. Ive seen a white one with black top in town. Kind of the stormtrooper look and it'll turn your head. I'll post some pictures up, probably in a new thread later this week.

Hey @TellmeyourWHAT? I finally got this lettering in and wanted to ask you a few questions. First, when I am centering the little notch in the Styrofoam, should it be lining up with the center of the I in KIA? Also, about how high up from the edge of the hood did you place the Styrofoam? Lastly, would you happen to have any pictures of the process?

No pictures of the process.
Put the notch right over the "I" in KIA.
As for how high up? I put the styrofoam right in line with the edge of the hood.
