• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... My wife wants an SX in Moss or black copper with Dune leather. None around us so it will probably be ordered.

Welcome to the forum - you will most likely need to order that combo (Black Copper is quite rare as it is only on SX models). Just work with a dealer who will negotiate your price up front! They just re-opened SX Prestige ordering, so go for it now! Should be delivered before end of year.

Yes, from what I read here only 73 Built so far with that combo. She's OK with ordering to get what she wants. Are the lead times on an order that long now?

Not sure - hopefully not. Most of our orders for the SX Prestige have taken ~ 3-4 months. But, maybe they can build faster now - as they re-opened the queue. But, it will start to fill up again.

Well we spent the evening shopping. All the dealers that list SX models in stock, have none. Very disappointing. We found an EX model in dark moss that we liked. After an initial low ball trade, numbers started going up, as well as mandatory add ons. They wanted Full sticker plus $1395 for an interior protection package (and a little more) which they said is on all cars the sell. We were willing to do that. Then they came back with a better trade number, and tried slipping in a $2895 exterior protection package including coverage for scratches and dings. The sales girl was adamant that this we needed, and I told her we don't need it and won't accept it. We walked. Started researching the Palisade last night, and will try buying one today. If we get the same BS, we not buying either. Maybe 3-6 months reality will set in on these and deals will get much better. It's not a 2020 GT500.

Those are just the DRL's. We like it better than the Telluride we looked at.
congrats each to their own and that is why they have to different brands. I just like the front of the Telluride better but like I said each to their own. Hope you enjoy and may I ask the cost compared the Telluride. I was seei9ng the cost higher for the same trims on the Palisaade. Still very nice looking car and it should be a good one. Congrats again

We did not have any luck buying a Telluride. Only one we liked, the dealer was greedy. Tried slipping in a $995 doc fee, and 2 "protection" plans with little actual value for another $4,300. They would not take the charges off. Went to one Hyundai dealer, they had $7,000 ADM, plus a $1,500 "protection" package with little actual value. The 3 they had also had $3,500 in options we didn't want. Last Hyundai dealer had almost exactly what we wanted, no markups or add ons, gave $1,000 off, plus a $500 conquest rebate. Was fair on the trade too. Saved $6,000 over the Telluride with basically the same sticker, and a whopping $13,000 over the same model Palisade (but sticker was $3,500 more). We are happy with the Pally so far.

Congrats on your Palisade purchase!

You made a good choice given the circumstance. Enjoy your new ride!

Congratulations on your Palisade! Are you located in Chicagoland by chance? Was wondering which Kia dealership tried to slip in so many added "protection" plans. It has been difficult identifying a Kia dealership with the consumer's interest in mind, as opposed to trying to slip in a lot of dealer add-ons!

Try Kia of Muncie Indiana... they are doing costco pricing.. not too far from Chitown.

McGrath was the crooks. Wilkins is where we bought

Sorry, Napleton Kia was the Kia dealer

Which Napleton? Theres 2. Elgin and Elmhurst. I have a 3 week old order from one of these dealers which I think has handled themselves just great. The other dealer I mentioned, continues to call me and leave annoying messages about my "online inquiry".
