• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Joined for research.

Well we spent the evening shopping. All the dealers that list SX models in stock, have none. Very disappointing. We found an EX model in dark moss that we liked. After an initial low ball trade, numbers started going up, as well as mandatory add ons. They wanted Full sticker plus $1395 for an interior protection package (and a little more) which they said is on all cars the sell. We were willing to do that. Then they came back with a better trade number, and tried slipping in a $2895 exterior protection package including coverage for scratches and dings. The sales girl was adamant that this we needed, and I told her we don't need it and won't accept it. We walked. Started researching the Palisade last night, and will try buying one today. If we get the same BS, we not buying either. Maybe 3-6 months reality will set in on these and deals will get much better. It's not a 2020 GT500.

I live in Florida and my local dealer had 8-10 Palisade on the lot. The one I wanted was an SEL FWD with bench seats because of the dogs. Also wanted, convenience, premium and guidance packages. They found one for me that they could swop out with another dealer and a 4k discount off MSRP. Wallace hyundai, Stuart Fl., John Randall Key seller and closer, he's all business. Just remember Hyundai produces 10x's the amount of cars, totally made in Korea.
