IN THEORY it may be possible, assuming the 17" wheel has the correct centerbore and lug spacing to fit the Telluride, and can also clear the brake calipers and suspension bits and pieces.

Do a search, there are some posts of people rolling on 17s. It is highly dependent on the specific rim you chose.

On top of that you will need to have a high profile tire so your rolling circumference will match the circumference of standard rims+tires. If you do not do that, your speedometer/odometer readings will be off.

You'll need to research this carefully - lots of variables to work through.

Yes, but only with certain wheels. The clearance with the brake calipers are very close. Call the manufacturer to see if they can confirm. Otherwise, get 18's and enjoy a larger selection of tires.

I'm running 17" wheels.

There are some raised letters on the front calipers that needed to be shaved down, then that was it.
