2nd row head rest put in backwards

Hi. I have a 2022 EX. I have 2nd row captain's chairs. I took out the passenger side head rest and accidentally put it in backwards. I've tried pushing the "release" button to take it back out and it is not budging in either direction. Other than taking it into the dealership to get it out, any suggestions on how to get it out without damaging anything? TIA.

either there is a way to slide a paperclip, or thin screwdriver down on the button side to get the clips to slide back and allow you to pull out the headrest.
OR
on and old Ford, I pried up the plastic cover around the hole on the side where the button is, that reveals the detent spring loaded clip that grabs each cutout in the headrest shaft. You will then have access to pressing it back with a screwdriver and sliding the headrest out.

You Tube has instructions to fix that. My second roll headrest was accidentally put on backwards on my Telluride. You tube showed me how to fix it
