• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Yet Another H/K System Upgrade

@HLXHLX: Since you're using the line out from the 4-channel amp for the sub, could you not split the signal and have 2 or 3 (or 4!) low-profile subs throughtout the vehicle? I might investigate this, and I'm not really a bass-head at all.

Nothing to stop you from doing that as complex as it may be. But at that point you'd probably get better performance from a dedicated full-size sub setup in the cargo area...many here have successfully done those installs.

One more question for the group, namely HLXHLX: Did you use any load generating devices in your amp setup? I'm thinking of the ones from AudioControl in particular.

TIA

I don't have any issues with unintentional muting, distortion or system shutoffs in my setup. Everything boots up, stays on and turns off like factory settings.

Hello, where would I get the remote signal from? I connected to factory acc wire on amp but my amp still stays on. Appreciate your help thank you.

The factory system continues to stay on for a bit after you shut off and exit the vehicle and will also turn back on the moment you open a door. Lock yourself in with it off and 2x check if your aftermarket amp turns off after ~10mins

I am selling my Kia so here is a Kicker key 180.4 amp plus pass through harness for telluride BO system. This uses the input signal from the front two speakers and amplifies and splits this to the 4 door speakers. Customizable EQ. Includes wiring and fuse from battery through the firewall. Cuts itself on and off with signal. Plug and play. took me about 10 minuets to restore the factory radio presale. You will lose fade but gain kick ass stereo. $100.00

Hi @HLXHLX - I cant send PM since I am a new member... any chance you have any more harnesses? 2021 SX with H/K - I was so inspired by your post I ended up copying your setup when I found the AC Amp on Sale for 599. What type of wiring did you use between the harness and the amp for input / output? Also, did you use 0GA? I am currently running 4GA to the rear and will probably now install my amps where you put your sub and wondering if with the 1400W RMS I have now I will need to go 0GA.

@HLXHLX I am in need of a 2025 HK amp harness to add a subwoofer if you still have them!
