Nothing to stop you from doing that as complex as it may be. But at that point you'd probably get better performance from a dedicated full-size sub setup in the cargo area...many here have successfully done those installs.@HLXHLX: Since you're using the line out from the 4-channel amp for the sub, could you not split the signal and have 2 or 3 (or 4!) low-profile subs throughtout the vehicle? I might investigate this, and I'm not really a bass-head at all.
I don't have any issues with unintentional muting, distortion or system shutoffs in my setup. Everything boots up, stays on and turns off like factory settings. One more question for the group, namely HLXHLX: Did you use any load generating devices in your amp setup? I'm thinking of the ones from AudioControl in particular.
TIA
The factory system continues to stay on for a bit after you shut off and exit the vehicle and will also turn back on the moment you open a door. Lock yourself in with it off and 2x check if your aftermarket amp turns off after ~10minsHello, where would I get the remote signal from? I connected to factory acc wire on amp but my amp still stays on. Appreciate your help thank you.
